        I wouldnt use or recommend bike works. We bought a bike in March and within a matter of weeks, the front brakes were useless as part of the mechanism had fallen off. Then the back tyre had a puncture. So, punctures happen , but despite patching it up it still leaked air. When we got the bike, the bloke said to bring it back if we had any problems. We tried. We took the bike down but it was closed with a note pinned to the door saying closed and would be closed for a few weeks. Then we sent emails and the first email said only open Monday Wednesday and Friday morning. Nothing about when to take the bike back. The following emails asking if we could drop the bike off went unanswered. After weeks of trying to contact them, somebody eventually answered the phone. He was abrupt and quite rude and said we could have fixed the puncture ourselves. Yes, we tried but didnt work. We then asked if they could pick the bike up and a time convenient to them and we would pick it up when ready. The answer was no because it wouldnt fit in his car??? Not at all helpful! Not recommended.
