Work to shape large fir and 2 large hedges + other trimming tasks was carried out professionally. The guys turned up on time and left garden in a tidy state.

Phoned Heartwood trees for advice and was not disappointed. Very knowledgeable and took time to explain the issues and solution to my problem trees. Would definitely recommend Heartwood trees and wish them all the best in the future.

I have used the services of Heartwood Trees twice now. We have a few trees on our land, a number of them had blown over, or partly over and were balanced dangerously above the driveway and phone line. Heartwood Trees safely cut down the dangerous trees. The second time I had to call on their services was after the recent high winds, one tree had partially blown over and was only supported by the Telephone line. Heartwood Trees were able to come promptly and remedy the issue. I will use Heartwood Trees again in the future, since they perform a good job, at a competitive price.

Called Dom for a quote for tree cutting and pruning. He was passing by the property and gave us the quote on the phone (we don't live there yet, renovating). Said because the job was so small, they had to wait until another job came up in the area so they could do two the same day. They're based a few miles from our house and within reason any job that's profitable is worthwhile for a company. Anyway, we agree for him to call us. Around two weeks later, he says they can do the job the next day. Luckily, we were able to do that. We agree it and he says they'll be there to start around 8am. We live in Edinburgh and the property is near Glenrothes so said we'll be there around 9am. We arrive and no one is there. I call Dom, who said he was going to call me that they had to cancel. So he said he was going to call to tell us that, on the day agreed for the work. After the time he said they would begin. After we had driven to the house. We didn't plan to be there that day. Really disappointing. Overall, because of the lack of common decency and bad communication in not letting us know they couldn't do the job before the work was agreed to start, we won't be calling this company in future.
