Seeing Scotland in a motor home is the way to go. You can wild camp or use caravan parks. We chose to wild camp 5 nights and use caravan parks 3 times to have a shower with no limitation on the water used and to empty and re-fill.
Driving on the single track roads wasnt bad. I recommend, if youre using a GPS, to verify the route via another source first before blindly following it. Our GPS took us on some routes that added needless miles and a couple of tiny questionable single-track roads that may have only been meant as sheep trails. Who knows, we may have missed a few beautiful sights if we hadnt taken those scenic routes.
One more thing, these motor homes are manual shift. If you dont know how to drive manual dont rent! Otherwise, DO rent, DO see Scotland with a motor home, and DO Rent from ECOSSE!
