My review is of the optical outlet in Hillington I have been using this place for years and recommended it to many people I put my glasses into them to get my prescription glass put in 3 pairs to find out the glass replacement had risen by another 15 per pair I was charged 25 per pair now 40 per pair other outlets do them for 25 a pair I am shocked as I said I have been using this company for years. When I asked I was told the lab prices had risen when I explained other outlets could still do it for 25 I was told we will try and make it up to you the next time after all these years using them my advice is stay away and go elsewhere try the outlet in Hamilton I wish I could give no stars

My friend went in looking for glasses for using her computer which she explained she needed at the time. She has reading glasses which she can use and had bought another pair on line which she could not read her screen while wearing. The sales woman took her prescription and frames were chosen. When we went to collect the glasses, the assistant gave my friend her laptop to see if she could see ok, seemed fine. Back at work, it became apparent that she was having the same issue as the online specs - unable to read her screen. When we went back, we were told that she had given us reading glasses and had done what was asked and my friend needed intermediate glasses?!? We had no idea what these were as this was NEVER mentioned during the original consultation and neither of us knew what this was. It only came up when we tried to return the glasses - no apology just an "I'm right, you should have known this" attitude. There are much better deals to be had out there with some level of customer service - will not be back which didn't seem to upset the sales assistant either obviously they can afford to lose customers if they sell them them glasses unfit for purpose!!!
