Someone reviewed this restaurant and suggested it had a funny smell. That smell is vietnamese fish sauce. That smell is so very deeply reassuring, and its presence warns you upon entry that they take this kind of cooking seriously. And my, don't they. Deep, rich, delicious bowls of Ph here. Drink it. Hell, bathe in it. Luxuriate in it. Enjoy it. Generous vegetarian and vegan options that know what they're about. Flavours that take no prisoners, though gentler on the chili heat than their menu would have you believe. Crack on.
