I had the misfortune of working with this thug under hi new guise as Keedwell Scotland stay well clear

I am really glad to see that Gordon McLellan re-established his company again. I worked for him when he was still operating from Stepps (this was before the company went down and the operation's were taken over by Coates) and it was really terrible place to work for many reasons. From the first week of my work there I was doing everything to part our ways ASAP, but the fate had something different in store for me. Our cooperation ended badly when I was injured in traffic accident (not related to my work nor blamed by me) and the company decided that it is a great moment to get rid of me and save some money. So basically when I was injured, they not only sacked me, but also "forgot" to pay me my notice pay, my overtime that we had dispute over and even for the last two weeks I worked for them. That was about a grand according to my calculations. So basically speaking those nice chaps left me without money while knowing well that I am injured and cannot work (I was unable to work for a six weeks). When I was asking about money, I was treated quite badly, so I took them to Employment Tribunal. The corespodence I was getting from company managers and it's lawyer was quite impudent. Then I was falsely accused of causing a road accident and they claimed that they took that money off me to pay for damages (this would be off course illegal without my consent). of course my case was so obvious that I won with bells and whistles and I was awarded more than I expected. Sadly, since company claimed that they are under administration, they were unable to pay and the Insolvency Service had to fill in with payments from National Insurance Fund. Sadly due to the cap on weekly income, I wasn't paid in full, but it was close enough to get by. But now I am browsing the internet, minding my own business, and what I see? McLellans Transport advertises on Gumtree that they are looking for drivers and they refer to their long going company traditions. Obviously since they claim to be a continuation of their former business, they now have enough money to pay me my remaining 100 pounds or so (plus interest)... Surely, if they claim to be a continuation of the same business it might be also worth considering my story before applying for a job with them. Lorry drivers, learn from other's mistakes!
