Very friendly staffs helped me to learn how to skateboard from very basics. If you are a beginner and looking for a place during winter, this is the ideal one!

I am probably the least coordinated person but I really wanted to learn to skateboard. After a few attempts at learning by myself during the pandemic I found Fakie and they have been beyond brilliant! Good vibes, a wee laugh and just the right amount of encouragement to get you feeling confident and pushing yourself. I assumed that skateboarding probably wasn't for me, but these guys totally proved me wrong!

Awesome shop, easily accessible in the city centre. One stop shop for skateboarders offering decks, complete builds, individual components, even clothing and accessories. The shop is skatable, too, with a wee half-pipe which the owners use to deliver lessons in one or two hour slots. Both are great teachers and really chill dudes interested in getting people skating and passing on their experience. Would recommend to anyone interested in skating, or if you have a loved one into skating. Beginner or pro you'll find a nice atmosphere to learn and develop your skating.
