Dobbies Garden Centre Braehead

Nothing special and the cafe/restaurant was poor don't serve food at 2.30 told only cakes tea and coffee and pretty overpriced for a piece of dry chocolate cake and even the cheesecake tasted dry not impressed at all definitely won't be back !

Visited Braehead branch today looking for miracle grow. Asked an assistant who then called over a man who I presume was the manager, walking around with z cup of coffee in hand, poor h&s!! When he was asked about what I was looking for he shrugged and replied. "Not in the plan for this year" and walked off cup in hand. I won't be back .

Lots of stock you'd expect in a garden centre. Waitrose now in the foodhall. Very helpful staff throughout. Free parking. Dobbies Card being promoted and offers 2 free hot drinks each month along with % off certain purchases.

My friend got me afternoon tea in the restaurant for my birthday, It was today Tuesday 2nd May. After having to find a staff member she showed us to our table which was set with cups plates as was the very next table. Some people came and sat at the table next to us and we could hear them and they us, we were the only people in the place!!!!! We sat and as soon as we gave our hot drinks order the food arrived obviously already made up.. I asked did we not choose our sandwich filling and was told no thats the way it comes!!!!! Anyway I dont like salmon, just as well my friend did and I dont eat non butter spread on my bread which I had to scrap off, as for the cucumber sandwiches no fine slices but big chucks with the skin on, not nice. No choice of brown bread as the sandwiches came on white. The little cakes and scones were fine though. I had to go and look for staff for a top up of coffee. Nobody came to ask if everything was okay or did we need anything else most disappointing. Once we had our refill a very nice lady who was working the main restaurant did come to check on us. Very disappointed as in the past the afternoon tea was always lovely.

Hi I visited the restaurant on Tuesday with 3 other family members including my elderly mum. We were there for breakfast, the server was pleasant but slow. By the time we waited for the food then waited for the teas and coffees then waited to pay and got to a table our food was really cold. My mum hasn't been out much and was looking forward to breakfast at Dobbies but it was a disappointing experience. Cold scrambled egg , hard potato scone and no rolls. It's expensive and I wouldn't recommend. Not worth the money.
