Glasgow City Free Church

I worshipped here on Sunday morning, 8th August 2021. Booking in due to covid was very straightforward. The pastor was on holiday but we had what I assume was an elder preach. We sang two hymns and two Psalms. The sermon was on the Great Commission and was 40 minutes long. It was an excellent service and the people are very friendly. Highly recommended, I will be back very soon!

(Translated by Google) Building designed by one of Glasgow's most famous architects Alexander Thomson. The only surviving of four Thomson-designed churches. Thomson was a Christian who used his talents to design one of the most extraordinary buildings. In the 1960s it was bought by the Glasgow Corporation and is now owned by the Glasgow City Council.
