Cathcart Police Station

Horrible experience. Was down at the station to pick up lost property. Rang the bell and was greeted by a rude member of staff. She was dismissive and cheeky when asking about the property and her overall demeanour was unhelpful and negative. It was like we were being spoken to like criminals when we were simply picking up a lost bank card. Wouldnt feel comfortable reporting anything in this station.

First thoughts after seeing Mark Revie's review is that it sounds alarmingly familiar to my experience, thing is mine was down at East Kilbride station (See my review) Must of been different staff on my day here because they were the nicest bunch of coppers i have ever come across, looked after me and my mate, got us sorted and out as quick as possible and wished me well after having a good crack at the sign in desk in custody about all sorts for about 10 mins. I think what is clear here with south Glasgow police is that not just one or 2 but a small percentage which unfortunately equates to quite a few individuals spoils it for the lager percentage and it clearly shows the decent PC's and staff are fed up of the wannabe gangsters that are out there doing as they please, breaking every rule and abusing their powers. Anyway, this is Cathcart and i cannot commend them enough and have made sure the chief constable is aware of these exceptional individuals who actually asked to be reviewed by myself separately from the other lot making it clear they choose looking after the public rather than trying to intimidate and bully like some. Thank you all who spoke and dealt with me in a positive manner that day, we desperately need police staff like yourselves, big respect.

Aware of a scam. Call 101. I have reported this issue 3 times!!! Via 101. Nothing has been actioned. I never even got crime reference number
