My husband and I recently traveled to Scotland where we had a small wedding with our immediate families. Since we live in Texas and we were only arriving in Scotland a few days before our wedding, it was super important to us that we felt good about our vendors beforehand. From the very first email, Wilson McSheffrey had me sold. Kate (who handles all of their email communication) responded to my inquiry the same day I made it. Aside from her excellent communication and her timely response, what really impressed me was that she noticed, and brought up in the first email, that I had "liked" their Facebook page, which according to a promotion they were offering, meant that I received a 15% discount. I feel like a lot of companies offer those promotions but would make you ask for the discount, but she was the one who called it to my attention--really awesome! Throughout the whole planning process, Kate was great to work with. When we finally arrived to Scotland, Andrew and Emmet traveled to Nethy Bridge, where we were staying before and after the wedding. All of their packages include a pre-wedding shoot, which was great because it helped us get to know Andrew and Emmet before the actual wedding, and really put us at ease. We really loved having Andrew and Emmet as our photographers--they made us feel so comfortable, kept us laughing, and we had a great time with them. But, of course, the best part of the experience was getting our photos! Some of my friends (who have used other photographers) have waited MONTHS before getting their photos, but Wilson McSheffrey had a Facebook post with a sneak peek of 27 of our photos--just 7 days after our wedding! And within a month of our wedding, they uploaded all of our 450+ edited photos (each with a b&w and color version) to a private online gallery for us to view, and they mailed us a DVD with the photos. This was especially important to me since we are having a reception in a couple weeks with all of our family and friends who weren't in Scotland for our wedding. We really wanted to be able to share the photos with them, and we're so glad that we can, thanks to Wilson McSheffrey's really quick turn around time. And, we absolutely love all of the photos! They managed to perfectly capture the mood of our wedding--our photos are gorgeous and our friends who have seen them said they look like a fairy tale. I loved Wilson McSheffrey's style from the moment I saw their first blog post, and I was so pleased with how all of our's turned out. If you're looking for a wedding photographer in Glasgow, or anywhere in Scotland (they are willing to travel and do not seem to charge as much as other photographers), I highly recommend them!
