Two bad experiences in a row with a repeat prescription from the GP practice next door. The first time (Feb 2023) I visited the pharmacy to collect the medicine a week after the GP practice had confirmed handing over the prescription. I was told they had not received anything. Called the practice who confirmed yet again they had handed over the prescription. Back to the pharmacy, they said they had found it but it was from the month before and I hadn't collected it, I pointed out they got confused with the previous prescription, which I had already collected. Back a third time and finally got my medicine, two weeks later than I hoped. Second bad experience, went in last Friday to collect the same medicine, was told they hadn't managed to get it and to come back Monday after 3. Got in today and was told they didn't have it yet and to try another pharmacy. I said I was happy to wait another couple of days, at which point they said they would not be able to get hold of the medicine because it has been discontinued. A pretty essential bit of information! I pointed out that the first suggestion of heading somewhere else was pretty poor advice (without telling me that the medicine had been discontinued) because it would have sent me on a wild goose chase around glasgow, and much better advice would have been to speak to my GP to find an alternative. Total refusal to acknowledge this. I'll be complaining to Lloyds. My advice: this is a store run by shopkeepers, not an essential service led by health care professionals. If you need anything simple by all means shop here. For anything important or critical - stay away.

Asian and black girl Very helpful, excellent service! However white girl unnecessarily discriminating, and problematic, needs to be retrained on costumer services and behaviour! Disappointed

I've been a customer of Loyal Pharmacy for years, and I've never had a bad experience. The pharmacists are always available to answer any questions I have, and they go out of their way to make sure I have the best possible care. I trust their recommendations, and I feel comfortable asking them for advice. I highly recommend this pharmacy!"

I go there and they keep sending me back and forth to the GP first saying we havent got your prescribtion, then saying weve lost it and all the while its there! The GP says theyve scanned it! and they insist its not there! and the GP is even worse saying we cant give you another prescribtion!? I would really complain from both, service is absolutely unacceptable and staff are rude they dont even have the manner to apologise!
