Renaissance Care Whitecraigs Care Home

Our mum has been a resident of Whitecraigs Care Home since October 2021 and has adapted to it very well. This is mainly due to the care and genuine love for her by the staff and management who take time to understand her needs which was something we wanted for our mum. It was not an easy decision for any of the family to make but we have seen such an improvement in our mums health by the interaction of the carers. The staff are dedicated and caring and I would like to thank them all for the support they provide to my mum and me which has given me peace of mind and extended my mum's life.

My mum was in this carehome for 3 months, they have a lot to answer for, i went in one morning and my mother was unconscious lying over a chair not any staff in sight, i thought i had lost her, they are an absolute disgrace, what that place has put us through as a family, one of the team leaders took a picture of my mother in a bath naked, she sent it to me i was disgusted that this is allowed to happen, this is a breach of human rights of a person of cognitive impairment, she should have been struck off, she said to the sssc she knew she had made a mistake and was so sorry a lot of rubbish she should never have taken her own personal phone into the bathroom where my mother was getting personal care which rarely happened needless to say one of the reasons she ended up unwell. I will expose this place as the going's on would make your hair curl. The manager should hang her boots up she's a total disgrace. I wouldn't put my worst enemy in here.

I would like to thank all the lovely staff at Whitecraigs Care Home for all their patience and time they have spent helping to settle my mum in , it was a big change for all of us and they helped us every step of the way . Annemarie the manager , went above and beyond her duties to make sure mum had everything she needed in the transition , cant thank everyone enough.

Our Mum Georgie Judge was in Whitecraigs for restbite & we cannot thank the staff enough for being so attentive & helping my Mum settle in x We hope the management realise what a great bunch they have x Can we say particular thanks to Ashley & Julie Ann these 2 girls are total diamonds x
