I took in my partner's car for a check on an air con fault. Unfortunately G Motor Tec don't have the facility to change the new type gas required so they couldn't fix the fault, however the staff were really friendly and helpful. They told me what they had found and that the air con would be working if they had been able to charge the gas, with new type of air con gas and that their diagnostic tests showed no other fault. They didn't charge, even although they had run the tests and had even tried to get another local company to charge the gas for the car (which they also couldn't do). I am really impressed by this company and their honesty and would highly recommend them! Service: Air conditioning

This garage is my local garage and they are always so helpful. I am completely clueless when it comes to cars and could totally be left to get ripped off due to my lack of knowledge but they are always so helpful and honest and explain things to me so I can understand. Whenever there is something wrong with my car I will take it to these guys no question about it. Reasonable prices and lovely helpful staff. 5 stars every time!

While on the way to our holiday to Strontian, our car engine blew up on the motorway towards Glasgow, we managed to limp it off the motorway and arranged recovery. The recovery company wanted us to find a local garage to take the car to, so we googled a couple of companies. G Motor Tech agreed to take the car and have a look to see if it was repairable. Unfortunately it needed a new engine and this was not an option for the value of the car. Gary advised us to get a hire car and go on our holiday and he would arrange to scrap the car. Due to the area we were staying in we had no phone service so we were emailing to discuss the arrangements. Gary was very helpful and made a very traumatic time (we had 2 dogs with us at the time) much calmer. He was quick to reply and resolved the situation. Although we live in the Midlands I could genuinely state that if I was living closer to this garage it would be my place to go for any help, repairs or advice. Gary and the team are helpful and honest and seem to genuinely care about their customers - even two waifs and strays from the Midlands with two Staffordshire Bull Terriers in need of help. Thank you guys
