In response to their response...
It was explained that the repairing garage would no longer try to repair and had closed communications, that I needed the car and I was without transport ( I live rurally) I guess since the parts had been replaced the amount of money to be made was unattractive.
Guess I'll be going elsewhere, even though they have taken close on 1000 from me in the past year for previous repairs.
