The woman who runs the place is great. Ive been going in for years and shes always lovely and very helpful. Shell ask if she can help quite soon after you come in because she knows everything in the shop and can tell you where it is or if they stock it. You could be looking for hours without her as theres so much stuff in there. Shes really nice and gives good advice and if she doesnt have something in will tell you the nearest place that probably does. Shes very patient given Im rarely sure exactly what Im looking for when I go in there. The prices are good (obviously probably not quite as cheap as some huge retailers who can buy in bulk), you dont feel overcharged. She takes card but I think its only for transactions over a tenner and she prefers cash, so I try to keep some for when Im in. Its a great, proper hardware shop. Im really glad and grateful its there.
