    100% in the landlords favour. Not at all impartial at all as they insisted they were! They adjudicate disputes based solely on tenants violations while tolerating all landlords violations of tenancy agreements. Their excuse: considering landlords breaches are outside their remit of adjudication. But who made this arbitrary limit to their remit? on their own! Adjudication was supposed to be fair and balanced. But they selectively chosen to ignore contractual faults of landlords. They make this the limit of their remit. So very cleverly, they shut their own ears regarding all tenants complaints regarding landlords' breaches. THIS IS NOT ADJUDICATION! They then advised aggrieved tenants file their counterclaims elsewhere. They dont care at all about multiplicity of proceedings or waste of legal and social costs! Their theory: even if landlords broke their contractual duties so that tenants could not have quiet enjoyment of a furnished apartment with working appliances, tenants are not entitled to withhold rent. Even if tenants felt their landlords were "cheating" them, they shouldn't bring complaints to SafeDeposit Scotland. They don't care! The SafeDeposit Scotland calls this kind of adjudication impartial. So ridiculous! The SafeDeposit Scotland failing legitimately expected public function. They have very simple and easy work to ignore complaints from tenants (regarding landlords breaches), however solidly supported by evidence. They did not tell you about this ridiculous limit of their remit before they accept your deposit money!

    Spoke to Tracy regarding a change of email on my account that wasn't showing so I wasn't able to claim my deposit back. She sorted out everything for me in probably all of 5 minutes and was very efficient, and also pleasant, very helpful as I was really needing that money back.
