I phoned several jewellers to have my ring valued at the request of my insurance company but all of them required sending it away (this ranged from 10 days to 4 weeks). I was reluctant to do this so decided to search for someone who would do this on site. I found Sammantha Maclachlan online and after reading all of the positive reviews I made an appointment for a week later. I visited Sammantha at her office and she was able to value my ring at her office without sending it away. Samantha was knowledgeable, professional and gave a detailed evaluation of my ring. She also gave my ring a clean. I received a detailed report and valuation the next day via email. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Sammantha for on-site jewellery valuations.

Sammantha was super helpful with my jewellery valuation. She was quick to respond to queries before I committed to an appointment, and also didn't need to wait long to get booked in with her. During the valuation she talked us through everything she was doing, and even let me have a look at a couple of bits too. The report I have received is very substantial and exactly what I was looking for, for my insurers. Would definitely recommend.

Super service from Sammantha! I've used Sammantha for business to business services when I need a valuation done for a bespoke client piece. Sammantha is knowledgeable, professional and clear. It is so obvious she loves her job! I've also used Sammantha for gemmology services and for a few short courses for myself. I can't recommend her enough!
