First thing I would say about Paul is this: if you want someone available at short notice, to do a job quickly, then jog on. Paul is thorough, meticulous, and whatever other adjectives are most appropriate for someone who is a consummate professional. Everything is done properly, carefully, and with an expert eye for detail. This chap knows what he's doing. Our bathroom was a dreadful mess, for a variety of reasons, including flooding. Paul came out, as soon as was convenient for both sides, and took his time to compile a thorough quote. If i tell you that we'd had 40 odd others discuss our needs, you wouldn't believe me. Until you are in the same position yourself. Many of them come out, and spend ages with you, then vanish. Others will make ridiculous quotes, OTT claims about your bathroom needs, then bamboozle you with technical, and sometimes made-up terms. Having done a fair bit of research ourselves, we knew a ballpark figure for what needed done. So, we were wary of low-ball, and overly-high quotes. We weighed them all up, and what swung it for Paul was simple; he seemed like a genuinely nice guy, who appeared honest. For anyone expecting a twist in this tale, there is none. He has proved himself all of what we could've hoped, and more. And, when minor snagging issues arise, which you must always expect with any building work, he will sort them for you. As soon as is mutually convenient. We supplied all of the main items, bought from Wholesale Domestic, and Paul his own bits and bobs. That worked perfectly for us. You may prefer a different approach. However, get Paul to do it for you. He's busy for a good reason, so you'll have to wait a while. It will be worth it. 5 stars. Thank you, PDM Bathrooms. Paul is lovely, and throughout listened to our (very specific and sometimes idiosyncratic!) needs and wants converting a bathroom into a wet room to be more disability-friendly, and was extremely patient with a complicated project. He anticipated things we hadn't thought of and gave excellent advice. (Photos are prior to painting thus the unfinished walls)
