After struggling for years with undiagnosed mental health issues I am glad I finally reached out for help with aspect autism. Alison and Caroline made me feel very at ease during my autism assessment. The results were very quick and very informative and I was provided with follow up appointments to discuss my results. Through these appointments both Alison and Caroline helped me become more accepting of who I am, and have helped me realise my neurodivergence is something to be proud of. I was provided with ongoing support after my diagnosis and I cannot express enough how thankful I am for everything Alison has done to assist me in my recovery journey so far. I would highly recommend aspect to anyone looking for a diagnosis!

I had an excellent experience for my diagnosis here. The stress of waiting over 2-years for an NHS diagnosis would have been too much for me, whereas Alison and the team made it as stress-free as possible I was also reassured by the fact that they are specialised as female diagnosis as well.

I saw Alison for an Autism assessment at age 49 in October 2022. Alison was able to put me at ease during assessment and was supportive post-diagnosis. I have and will continue to recommend Aspect Autism Consultancy.

To say that working with Alison has been life changing would be an understatementit has been life GIVING. To be given a diagnosis of autism and ADHD as an adult woman - something that I would NEVER even have considered just one year ago - has allowed me to finally make sense of my life. Why I have never been able to recover from a life long eating disorder; why I am exceptionally talented and intelligent yet struggled to focus and concentrate at university; why I get overwhelmed by seemingly normal aspects of everyday life.having this understanding, and realising that there is nothing inherently wrong with me and that I dont need to change has felt like a huge weight has been taken off of my shoulders. Before I started working with Alison my life was a mess. Nowadays, my life is STILL a mess..but at least I understand why!!! And its a beautiful mess!!! Sometimes life as a neurodivergent individual feels a bit like climbing a mountain. A constant uphill struggle that can be both tedious and exhausting. The thing is - you wouldnt do very well by attempting to scale Everest without a guideand well I guess you could say that Alison is my Sherpa! She has made me realise that actually, my life with autism and ADHD doesnt have to be a burden, or an unwelcome challenge, but rather a unique gift and an epic adventure! However this has only been made possible thanks to the guidance and the expertise of Alison. I honestly dont think that there is anyone more knowledgeable or passionate about this field, and who is so genuinely invested in the lives and wellbeing of their clients than Alison is. I cannot recommend Aspect Autism enough, and if there is anyone out there who is on the fence about whether to contact Alison to enquire about a consultation, diagnosis or treatment, then get off that fence - you have nothing to lose and a life to gain!

So after years of trying to get help from the NHS I was forced to seek help privately for my sons condition, anxiety, stress, sleeping troubles and other aspects associated with ADHD/ASD. I contacted Alison and we are now happy to say that as a consequence of Alison's detailed report my son has now had an appointment with the necessary consultant and is due to start medication soon. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Alison and her team for helping to achieve this goal. Alison handled my son with care, sympathy, empathy and lots of professionalism. After the initial visit my son felt he had at last been listened too for the very first time. Alison's knowledge is extensive. She treated my son and myself with respect and dignity. The other members of the team are an asset to the agency. We are so grateful to have found them. Life for myself and my son is so much easier now. I recommend that anyone struggling to get help for conditions such as autism or ADHD to contact Aspect Autism. Jacqueline Young
