We would happily recommend Guardian Stone. Ronnie performed a repair on our sandstone render. Although it was a relatively minor job for him he took create care and consideration, fitting the job in late on a Friday and conducting the work over the weekend. The job was finished nicely and free of mess. He was very friendly, approachable and communicative and more than willing to return until we were completely satisfied with the work.

See update below, following some problems which have arisen. Initially I wrote the following review: We cannot recommend Guardian Stone highly enough. We have been delighted with the work done in repairing/renovating our stone porch which is over 115 years old. The care craftsmanship and professionalism shown by Ronnie and his colleagues Ian and Ronan were outstanding. In addition they were all extremely personable and pleasant and they took very great care to keep dust and mess to a minimum. I would recommend them to anyone needing stonework done. However I now have to add that we are very disappointed. Less than 6 months on from the substantial initial work, (which cost over 5000) we experienced some recurrence of the problems for which this work was done. We have tried repeatedly to contact Ronnie, by telephone and email, asking him to contact us. I have tried numerous times and my husband has also tried on three occasions. Ronnie has not returned our calls, or sent any reply. We have left messages on his answerphone and my husband made clear that we would pay him for any remedial work necessary. This has created a highly disappointing, and frankly unsatisfactory situation. At the very least we feel he should have replied, even if he is not in a position to do further work at the present time. We are now left in limbo, needing to find another company to do the work. Ronnie, we would still appreciate it if you would get in touch.

Guardian Stone did repairs to and replaced stone in my gable wall. I found them to be thoroughly professional and the end product is excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending them and they will be my first call whenever I need stonework done in the future.
