For a company this big worker conditions are awful. Health and safety is only existent on paper. Working in dark areas with risk of loosing life and limb on daily basis. Workers treated as 2nd class citizens. PPE provided is sub par, example being expected to work 12 hour shift in rain and freezing temperatures during winter wearing summer clothing. Very high staff turn over as staff treated with lack of respect and support. Colleagues are the only saving grace as everyone pulls together with laughter to brace through the excruciating conditions

Was based at the blackgrange site, decent job all though alot of room to improve on with employees safety and working conditions. PPE was below par and never available in correct sizes example being gloves, working in freezing temperatures like -10 degrees in the winter no extra break provided to warm up while only wearing thin jackets, working in TLVS with NO lights in the dark was a challenge in it self every day. Only time the senior members of staff care about your health and safety is after a accident happens. Other things are senior members of staff speaking down to people and receiving constant threats about your job being on the line, a very large turn over with staff most people don't stay beyond 4 weeks, constantly understaffed and no room to progress further. The only positive is some colleagues are a great laugh and that's what helps you get through the day/week.

For a company that deal with the transportation of dangerous goods, They dont give you written down instructions on what to do! The communication is so poor infact, it lead me going to the wrong site. Only to get verbally attacked from David -Night shift Supervisor who critisised me for being in the wrong. Also. For the amount of money that the company makes, They should send in a cleaning team every week! To clean the inside of there trucks as they are left in a filthy condition.
