John and the team are very professional prompt and polite. We have used their service twice changing a number of locks. Providing a good timely service at a very fair price. One job had multiple doors in a Georgian building which took some care to keep the astetics.

I have used John Mackay & Son Locksmiths on many occasions. I recently upgraded to security barrels on my locks at home due to a recent spate of local break-ins, and the work was carried out quickly and efficiently by professionals who clearly take pride in their work. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for any of your locksmith needs.

Terrible service. I called the shop to make sure someone is there as I needed a set of key to cut. Mr Mackay advised me to come in the morning, at 9:30 when he opens the shop. I arrived a few minutes earlier then I waited until 10 am - he was still a no show. This not how you run a business. :(

Had to recently get 20 keys cut at short notice. Called John at Mackay locksmiths and he was able to sort it out for me. Great service.
