I contacted DWF Australia as my husband and my wills were lodged with Biggart Baillie Glasgow in 2002, who were subsequently taken over by DWF. We had moved to AU and were happy that our wills would be handled by a global organisation who would be able to assist us should we require assistance to resolve pensions/bank accounts/superannuation and the resolution of our estate, on two continents and in two hemispheres should the worst happen. The worst happened and my husband died in June 2020. He wasn't Rockerfeller, I won't get rich from his estate but he worked hard to leave me what he did and I want this resolved ASAP. DWF Australia could not have cared less about helping me resolve my husband's estate, our wills are both still lodged with Biggart Baillie, apparently now handled by DWF. Kept waiting for 16 months to be told when I tried to contact them to check on progress, "Sorry, we don't do wills & estates anymore.". Very shabby DWF. It is clear that your priority is profit not people.
