Read papers from the SLCC shared online regarding a complaint against Lauren McGhie - one of their private client team. The solicitor made a number of mistakes in the Confirmation. The solicitor didn't even check if the name on the title deeds matched those of the deceased. This delayed the sale of the property by a number of weeks. Worse still, the solicitor didn't even inform the clients of her mistakes. Instead, she went off on holiday and left it to the conveyancing firm to inform the client. Nor did they bother to order a copy of the correct deeds before going on holiday. Lacking honesty, lacking integrity, and lacking any of the competencies necessary to do the job. Definitely one to avoid. A disgrace to the legal profession

We would never use them. Brian Pollock and John Bett were the ones who dealt with our case a few years and very disappointed with the them. No results what so ever but all they cared about was there Fee!

Go with anyone else. Not one phonecall, very unclear instructions. This solicitors will be robbing your money as you have to do all the work. Disgraceful service for the money you give them.
