Really strange conversation today(5/12) with Mr Stewart of Inksters, formerly of McCartney Stewart in Renfrew. My query was regarding my mothers power of attorney which was finalised last year. A query however that I had been trying to find out about since 22/11. Mr Stewart said he no longer dealt with POAs & also didnt have the staff to pass my query on to. My mother has been a paying client of McCartney Stewart for many years and as such expects a better service than that. I only hope when it comes to dealing with my mothers Will, Mr Stewart doesnt come up with the same answers! On checking Inksters website there is a solicitor quite clearly stated that deals with POAs. Maybe Mr Stewart was just having an off day?

I have been dealing with Inksters since early 2020. Robert has been fantastic to deal with. he has gone out of his way multiple times on my behalf and I couldn't rate him and Inksters any higher. Responses have always been speedy and thorough. Definitely recommend.

Avoid dragged out process for months claimed to be ill then was passed to someone else in the firm who said they are working part time. once we got to the end was charged a ridiculous amount after doing most of the leg work our self and poor communication through out.

Absolute disaster of a firm. Took ages to deal with anything, last time I chased my solicitor I found out he had left months earlier but no one bothered to tell me and no one was allocated to my case. Then I contacted Brian who didnt respond then came back eventually saying they had staffing issues and he had been ill. Gave him the benefit of the doubt. Long story short I terminated with them on 31st August 2021 and despite 2 emails from me and 2 from my new solicitor he wont hand my case files over so hes now been reported to the law society. A colossal waste of time and money, empty promises and no delivery. A disgrace of a firm.
