I recently took some sofa cushions to be dry cleaned by Park Road Laundrette, and they came back damaged. They offered little in the way of an apology, and offered me a refund. Over the course of the ensuing month, I phoned on three separate occasions to be told that this issue had been passed along. Any shred of goodwill I had left at this point had evaporated due to the deplorable customer service offered by members of their staff. They were, quite frankly, dismissive, rude and desperate to get me off the phone as soon as possible. Theyve fallen incredibly short of the bare minimum expectations of a customer facing business and words cannot do justice as to how woeful my entire experience with this business has been. There was absolutely no accountability or responsibility taken for the damage caused and the lack of effort to rectify the situation was appalling. Only when I put my concerns in writing and advised that I believed the company had not acted in accordance with The Consumer Rights Act (2015) did they finally issue the refund (again, with absolutely no apology). Avoid at all costs.
