Tom designed and installed an amazing basement garden in our property last year - not an easy feat as it's north facing, partially beneath the steps, and doesn't get much sun (or rain). Despite the challenges, it's thriving and has completely transformed the area. Tom is a knowledgeable, talented, enthusiastic garden designer - a true professional - and he was happy to work with us, incorporating our ideas into the final design. Tom was a delight to work with even through the difficulties of lockdown. He took some of our random thoughts, added his ideas, took us through it all and turned them into a virtual garden and now an absolute dream beyond our expectations. The garden has now been totally transformed fron and back and even though planting only took place in the Autumn of 2021, it already looks so mature. It delights us every day to look at the "new garden" and to work in with our vegetables. Also he was on budget!! I'd recommend Tom to anyone. Thanks again. Tom visited last Autumn, to make a thorough survey of my garden, have an in depth discussion and then deliver a detailed planting plan, a "map", which was very clear and he then ordered his plant choices on my behalf. He revisited today to inspect and give me a whole fine-tuning plan, which he emailed to me just a couple of hours later. Speaking as a very inexperienced gardener, I've found Tom to be an ideal guide, with a no-nonsense but well thought out approach. And he's got a splendid dog called Solly. Service: Garden design
