The absolute worst dining experience of my life. I actually wondered if there were hidden cameras somewhere. Such a shame because it's a beautiful restaurant.

We were seated right away but then we felt a bit forgotten about - no-one came over to give us menus or take a drinks order, no staff came over our way even though there were a couple of tables near us too. Eventually (after about 10 mins) my friend had to go over and ask for menus! Service didn't get much better to be honest. Staff were nice, but not enough of them on; that said they were in no rush! The decor is beautiful but I hope the owners aren't expecting this to carry them through. Food was okay although it took ages to come - the soup was delicious - even though it was lukewarm! I'd give staff 4/10, food 7/10, decor 12/10.... I didn't leave a tip... and I always leave a tip! Wouldn't particularly recommend tbh, other leas pretty but definitely better Italian restaurants within walking distance.
