Really great housing association that cares about their tenants. The staff are all really helpful, and repairs are done in a timely fashion. In particular, Debbie, Derek, and Jim are fantastic and always go out of their way to sort any issues. The only problem is that EHA is now subletting flats to Mears, a private company who houses asylum seekers. I don't have an issue with this in principle, but one of my neighbours who has been placed by Mears is noisy and rude, having parties at 4 a.m. on weeknights. EHA can't do anything about it because technically Mears oversees those tenants, and therefore I can't escalate the complaints process for antisocial behaviour with EHA. Mears is not concerned that there are three people living in the tiny bedsit, and won't rehouse them despite months of complaints. I hope EHA doesn't renew its contract with Mears, because even though it provides EHA with guaranteed income, they have no control over issues within the flats that they contract out to this unscrupulous company.

Absolutely shocking service from EHA. Been waiting 3 weeks for an engineer to fix our satellite dish and have no telly. Not good when your disabled and can't go out and only can rely on having the TV.
