This did not meet my expectation. I was asked to update from superior room to Junior Suite. This was absolutely not an upgrade. The upgrade to river view was looking on to another hotel windows. Returned to the hotel to access the Sky lounge for the evening only to be told by SKY Lift attendant hat there was a queue being at the front of the queue it was disconcerting to have 3 groups put in to the lift in front of us despite not being able to book tables the response from this person was to take itup with management. I am a a member of this group hotel but will never back

Great hotel for overnight while attending sec for concert (short walk), great views for cocktails in Sky Bar, Singer in Oui Bar when we returned to hotel. Rooms were clean and great choice for breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and helpful special mention for Chloe/Molly in reception and Stevie @sky bar and breakfast, we will be back

Afternoon tea in the Sky Bar, 9 floors up. Lovely bar, amazing view across Glasgow and beyond. Bar was very busy, Maitre d took our name and seated us. We sat for 35 mins before I got the attention of wait staff to get a drinks order. The server, with an American accent, was very apologetic for our wait, very polite and helpful. She took our order but again we waited around 15-20 minutes for 2 gin and tonics, and a further ten minutes for non alcoholic mocktails. Food arrived, but no tea or coffees, this was another wait. Again server was very apologetic and polite when it was served to us. At this point she asked if we would like complimentary fries as an apology for the delays we had experienced. All in all, we had a lovely afternoon, food and drinks were good, pleasant surroundings. We felt a bit rushed on leaving as there was a function in the bar in the evening. However, our server was gone by that time. We didnt get to thank her for her amazing and polite service to us on a very busy day when she seemed to be the only person serving the floor. She was friendly, efficient and courteous at all times. She should be congratulated for her hard work under difficult circumstances.
