Craig was a bit cheeky on calls and in person from start to finish but I put it down to quirkyness. The most insulting thing of all was quoting double the price of the 5 quotes that we currently have. I emailed back to explain this and that my partner and I wouldn't be going forward and didn't receive a response, which I was kind of expecting anyway.

Do not use!!! Absolute chancers who dont know what theyre doing and who were going to leave the most ridiculous job for an extortionate price. Asked them to remove our whole ceiling and walls, add insulation wool, plaster, add in steel beam, and completely remodel the room so we could move our kitchen to a bigger space. They decided they would cut our small sections of two different ceilings, and not touching the walls and thought they could get away with it. Managed to get rid of them for over a grand but it was worth getting rid as they didnt know what they were doing and it would have cost more to redo after they were finished. Had the cheek to put a skip in my garden, remove his men from my job but then continue to turn up to my house to dump stuff from other jobs. Clearly skimming off the top of my job. Charged over 600 for a 100 steal beam that he was bragging to his workies that it was lying around so making some of [his] money back. Waited until my partner left the house (had been sitting outside the house for over half an hour) before coming to try and ask for the money from a pregnant lone female. Obviously I chose not to answer and bank transferee instead. DO NOT USE. Service: Remodeling

We took this builder to court in 2019 and won the case. As it stood then we were awarded over 10k for remedial works. He folded his company (again) and ran off. His standard of work was laughable. Has reopened as CL Builders - I guess there's only so many times you can use different versions of Drummond Brown
