Martyn Rapley

Martyn possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the guitar as well as being a gifted guitarist. As a tutor I have found our teaching sessions to be very informative and certainly productive. His approach is very relaxed. As a Newby of 6months im amazed how far I have progressed under his direction. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend taking lessons with him.

I was delighted to find Martyn and finally fulfil my ambition to learn the acoustic guitar. Martyn is an excellent and knowledgeable musician and teacher and I thoroughly enjoy our lessons. Lessons are informative, fun and lively, and Martyn is a caring and considerate teacher. I am so happy to have found him and I cant recommend him highly enough!

Martyn is a brilliant tutor - he explains things very clearly, is super friendly and approachable, and above all he really knows his stuff, from country to metal! I've been playing guitar for over 20 years but never learnt a single bit of theory, Martyn has been incredibly helpful at unpacking it all and has a wealth of knowledge to pass on for improving technique. I'd definitely recommend his tuition to anyone, whether a total newbie or a veteran who wants to brush up on things.

Have been learning with Martyn for the best part of 8 months now, always impressed by his knowledge all things Guitar, his ability to notice the small things your doing, and how he makes every lesson fun! Would highly recommend if you're looking for a guitar teacher.

Wonderful teacher with a fabulous teaching style. Provides a structured lesson that is fun. Martyn has many years of experience which comes through in his lessons. Highly recommend.
