I wish to give you 0 rate. I have changed my work to pattern night shift because of the high volume of traffic in Glasgow. I live about 6 miles away and it used to take me 40 minutes to reach the office during rush time but now as you see in odometer, it takes me 1 hour 15 minutes to drive 6 miles. The Scottish Road Works Commissioner website (SRC) shows about 1450 road works in Glasgow. When you go into details, the map shows 3 working days in Radnor Street but I have been passing though this for about 10 days. Also, there are cones around a small pothole in Sauchiehall street (in pictures) for the last 2 weeks and this is not in the SRC map. So the map is not accurate. Drivers see barriers and cones, but GCC staff do not wok most of the time and in the night I see them working only on motorway or the Clyde Express Way. Other areas, workers would work for 4-5 hours maximum and no common sense to complete the work in the evening-night. Some roadworks are located at very busy places but the council does not give any sense of urgency to complete this work quickly. Examples the corner between Dumbarton and Byres road in the photo. Driving in Glasgow is unbearable and worse than a nightmare. In 2022, I had to replace 2 arms because of potholes in Glasgow. I will submit a heads-up complaint in to GCC in case something else happens. Drivers are losing time on road, car abuse and depreciation and visit mechanics more often. I am wondering if GCC works has have reviewed by officials. Why do the police not helping during rush hours to smooth the traffic? All photos are taken for main roads.

Glasgow city council online payment page does not work, and the payment line has limited option and cannot resolve problem. I emailed them and it take ages to reply. Before getting matter resolved, Scott&Co sent letter. We are then stuck having to pay more. All because they do not have a system that allow human to speak to another human being. The only way to get to speak to the payment line, is by paying 10% more to Scott & co to get to speak to someone. It feels like being scam by council as there is incentive for them to pass to 3rd party while the problem was, they do not have a system to let people pay.
