Mum had requested a somewhat 'non-traditional' funeral with a woodland burial in the middle of winter. From my first phone call onwards, David at Malone and Fox provided the support and reassurance we needed and showed great compassion and professionalism throughout. As a family, we warmed to him and felt reassured that we had made the right choice. Despite receiving many questions and requests from us, he took it all in his stride, and we never felt like we were a burden. There were some lovely personal gestures that we found really touching and appreciated, like giving my nephews some pocket money for handing out the order of service, providing umbrellas in the pouring rain, and having a towel to wipe ourselves down with at the muddy woodland burial site. David and his colleagues looked after my family and our guests so well during the day and played a crucial role in making a challenging and upsetting day more bearable. So we want to say a big thank you to them.
