I could not have asked for a more caring, thoughtful, respectful and considerate experience from this establishment. Lorraine and the team were first class professionals and I felt informed and my wishes respected throughout! Many thanks again.

When my mother past away in 2016 we arranged the funeral and we got a funeral payment plan made up I was getting phone calls after phone calls asking when we were paying for the funeral not long after the funeral how disrespectful is this company I wouldn't recommend anyone to deal with them I won't be going back to the co-op to arrange anymore funerals if I could give them o stars I would

My dads whole funeral arrangements were not adhered to from start to finish. They did not even get his newspaper obituary correct. We asked for everyone to be seated and then the first remerance song played to let loved ones here this. NOT DONE. THE MUSIC WOULD HAVE TAKEN 2 MINS IN TOTAL. Priest speaks. Our second song we wished played for me father came on and we were ushered out the door by a rude Co--op supposedly sympathetic worker. Definitely not. Broke the speed limits to get us to our venue to honour my dad. For at least 2 days before my dads funeral the weather was dry. I watched them take off the flowers from the hearse. Different from what we asked and soaking wet. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the exact same flowers being taken off a hearse at St Thomas' Chapel in Riddrie. It had the exact same orange rose on it when we sternly told them all cream. Well I think they are defending running ascam and at peoples most vulnerable time. I'm not too strong at the moment but rest assured I will be contacting senior authorities regarding this matter. Go elsewhere ivr now been told of lovely care and attention to details of peoples wishes at this sad time. Please dont give them the money what a terrible service they provided.

I eventually found out where my Dad. John Barclay Ferguson, from a lovely kind lady I called at Manchester. She was more than happy to find out my dad was at the dennistoun CO OP funeral directors. I called dennistoun branch and was informed, I could not get details as my uncle was their client I.E paying for the cremation with my Dad's money. I would like to add at this point, he has no legal right to arrange the cremation. As his wife Agnes was the executer on my dad's will. The lady said to me, I need to find out if I can give you information. Forgot to mention she was calling my uncle Tommy. My sister and i should be put down as next of kin. I called today and was informed the details of my Dad's cremation tomorrow and saying, it should be ok not to call Tommy. Then went on to call my Dad Jackie, his name is John. Yes he got called Jackie aswel. To me that is disrespectful.I will be complaining to the head office. I was not treated the way a daughter should be .
