Melanie at Briar Rose Design is absolutely fantastic and such a talented florist! She did our wedding flowers and was brilliant at putting together something to suit our style and venue while incorporating my favourite blooms. The flowers were in excellent condition and smelled fantastic all day. I would absolutely recommend Melanie to anyone!

Mel created the most beautiful bouquets for our wedding. Loads of texture and colour, they were perfect and exactly the relaxed feel we were after. I was recommended briar rose by a friend and would absolutely recommend to others (already have!). No stress involved, I gave a colour scheme and mel did the rest. Lots of people commented on the flowers and the buttonholes and corsages were a lovely extra. Thanks so much!

Melanie did the flowers for our wee outdoor wedding in the Scottish Highlands in October. We had asked for autumnal colours to complement the beautiful autumnal Scottish hills and Mel got them spot on! The bouquet was beautiful, the buttonholes & bouttonieres made with such care, and the hair flowers were absolutely incredible! Mel was super easy to work with throughout the whole process and she even delivered the flowers right to our doorstep the evening before, which was so appreciated.

We had some particular requests such as autumnal colours, wild looking and sustainable sourcing, however beyond that we really wanted someone with the knowledge and talent to bring that to life at our venue. Melanie took time to understand not just what we wanted from our florals and decor, but us as a couple which put us at ease and made our planning such a pleasant experience! And on the day - wow did she deliver!!! All of it was stunning, the flower arch blew us away and it was clear such care was taken in everything - down to the last buttonhole. Everyone was admiring the bouquets and the colours were just fabulous. Melanie brought our venue to life without changing the atmosphere and character of the place. Everywhere we looked on the day there was something she'd added which made the day so special. We'd recommend Melanie in a heartbeat - her talent and passion shines through and it's clear she loves what she does!

What a fantastic job from Mel for our wedding in November. The bouquets, buttonholes and ceremony/centrepiece flowers were all in their own way unique but at the same time cohesive. We would highly recommend Mel for her service and designs.
