Union Technical

A canvasser from Union Technical knocked on my door at the start of August. He said I could have air source heating, solar panels & house insulation installed for 3500. A surveyor then called and did a full survey a week later Its now well over 2 months later. Ive had no communication from Union Technical what so ever. Ive called them a few times and each time I get told all is fine with the survey. Each time I call i get the same clueless sounding girl on the other end of the phone saying and I quote her exact words, were drawing up your plans and that. Im not sure what and that means but this is the unprofessional way she talks to customers. Theyve obviously not interested so Ive now gone elsewhere and been approved for an air source heating & insulation grant. Ive no idea what the point of union technical is to be honest. Theyve completely wasted my time and their own time & expense. They have proven themselves to be unprofessional incompetent time wasters. Avoid these people and get your grant from your local council approved supplier line I had to do. Good riddance to union technical.

Poor boiler installation. The engineer kept making difficult comments regarding installation and 6 months later we have realised theres a drop in pressure. We've had to get it refitted and pipes redone ourselves to correct this poor job.

Found Union Technical very reliable, friendly efficient staff. Explained where I could improve on my home energy efficiency. They found my shower tray was leaking when fitting my insulation. Marked where the leak was so the plumber could find it. Left a section out so I could get the work done then came back and fitted the rest. Very good service no glitches what so ever. Would not have a problem recommending them to anyone.

Was a bit nervous about getting all of the work done in our home but all workmen have been great with us. Unfortunately had some issues getting services booked in but these things happen. Once sorted all work was carried out so fast and efficiently, weve had our cavity walls, vents and boiler replaced and wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Thank you
