Be very careful when joining these guys .they called me up after 5 months .I had previously told them to mark me as a leaver.any how 5 months on they called me out of the blue and said do you want weekends work.that weekend I could do with the cash so I said yes .this was on a Wednesday.on the Friday I was sent empty name tag (I had to get a passport photo ).timesheets and an email confirmation where to go .I don't mind letting people know as a very experienced chef of 20 years I was 10 per hour which was never a problem before.when I did the work that weekend even securing another weeks work for the agency (the client was going to use blue arrow because they were not happy with prime staff-black and black).however when the pay came through surprise surprise the weekend work was less than minimum wage and when I challenged several. Women one of them said "Steven we have to pay our office staff as well"( aye but I bet your office staff are on 0 hours contracts).I seen the invoice to the care home 16.32 per hour week days and 18 weekends .I only got ,8 per hour so this agency are at it .any self respecting chef stay away .there are plenty of decent agencys in Glasgow who don't chisel you .and for the record when I asked for them to terminate my employment again surprise surprise no p45 OT holiday money after working with them for over a year ,SO DOES THAT MEAN THEY SENT SOMEONE TO A CARE HOME WITHOUT ANY REFERENCE .I HAVE A VALID PVG BUT THEY DID NOT KNOW THAT AT THE TIME .a very dodgy firm that will do anything for a buck and swindle you ...........................................stat away guys there are better agencys out there from there place on the square there are 2 within 5 mins walk ......
