I happen to live in a flat attached to the college and I think it is brilliant. Most that practice are pretty good. Interesting shop with goodies, ask questions, you're bound to find someone willing to talk your ear off about piping.

Fantatic place to practice, if you don't fancy annoying your neighbours. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the pipes, and the museum's also worth a wee look in if the history of bagpipes interest you.

Never been in the place but I work down the street and all we hear all day everyday is bagpipes from 8am until 5pm. I like bag pipes but this is too much, invest in some sound proof windows please. Wouldn't advise getting a flat nearby unless your exceptionally well into your pipes or have very thick, sound proof windows.
