Thank you Nikki. You completely put me at ease and because of this I was able to show I could drive competently and safely.

Just took my driving test here and got Nikki as my examiner - she was so nice. My nerves disappeared quickly and her clear instructions meant that I was confident the entire way through. This was my second test - the examiner in my first test (elsewhere) was really unfriendly, sighing and acting irritated the entire time, which really knocked my confidence. I was worried that this time would be the same, but it was a completely different experience, and I passed.

The driving examiner, male with name beginning with A (possibly Alan) muttered his instructions and then told my husband, who asked to clarify, 'right, I'll say it once more in English, take the next right, that wasn't so hard was it?'. My husband is not from the U.K., and this stinks of xenophobia. This examiner's behaviour was unprofessional throughout and clearly he is in need of training/ review of his suitability for the post. Formal DVLA complaint incoming.
