Glasgow West Medical Practice

I've been with this practice for 20 years and am happy to say that every experience has been problem-free and I have been treated by excellent doctors. Contrary to one of the comments below, I feel that the queueing system works well and that the reception team handle calls in a friendl manner. Glasgow West I'd Glasgow's Best.

I used to work here as a doctor, so can now leave an unbiased view. I left through no fault of the practice. A great GP surgery where a genuine effort is made amid an underfunded, short staffed NHS to care for patients as best as possible. Extra services included such as Mirena Coils, implants and joint injections, which is not common amongst other local practices.

All the doctors and the receptionists are lovely. Dr Grant is the nicest doctor I have ever had.

We really miss this GP, I don't remember the name of the doctor but one of the male doctors has resolved my 3 years of shoulder problem in one shot. Never relapsed. He was a true humanist. Always cared and showed affection when he saw my face was down. He was like that before the pandemic times hopefully still same. I really miss his approach to health problems. Now, we have a newborn and moved to the suburbs but still I am thinking of moving back to West End just because the gp here does not really care about anything. They behave like androids. We are seriously considering moving back to West End for this reason but the housing quality is so bad there for infants and therefore we are completely puzzled with the situation

Dr Grant is one of the best doctors Ive ever had. We only really met over the phone during the pandemic but he truly saved my life mentally. Talked to me for ages. Made me laugh, think andjust really helped me. 5 stars for sure
