The Cairns Practice

Took me a week before I could speak to someone. Each time there is tons of calls in the queue and by the time they answer me there is no appointments left because they only do them on the day and I cant arrange one for a later day. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment they give u one with a nurse. It is becoming impossible to get a proper GP appointment. Also surprisingly, a lot of the time my call gets ended before someone answer it so I have to call and rejoin the queue

This surgery used to be a nightmare to get through to in the morning. But isn't everywhere the same now. Anyway, now they put you in a queue which is much better cause at least you know you'll get answered. I've had to phone quite a few times recently for all different issues and the receptionists have always been polite and helpful. Last time I phoned I got an appointment for a half an hour later. Result! Couple of times, a prescription hasn't been filled but I've ordered another one and it's been fine. One of the GPs in particular is actually brilliant and very thorough. I haven't seen anyone else in a while to comment.

Poor poor poor, trying to get in touch with this place is near impossible, Ive more chance of a conversation with Putin than getting through to reception.

Its a completly tragedy. Can't book appointment cant even speak with a receptionist. They could even shout at you when you try to book appointment. Terrible. Was even thought about complain But I dont want to lose my time for them.need to Chang my practice its simple!

Was registered here 3 years, never been able to get a single appointment. Finally managed to get an appointment at a different clinic, long story short my condition should have been caught much earlier and my health is now suffering as a result. Stay far away from here if you care about your health
