Glasgow City Council Land Services Parks Open Spaces

Not sure if this is the right place but here goes. I phoned the roads and lighting dept on Thursday concerning the state of my street due to snow. I was answered by a pleasant girl who listened to me rant on and on about the disgraceful build up of snow and ice at the side of my pavements and no grit in the bins. She patiently explained to me about priority of main roads, hospitals etc but she would raise my concerns and try to get some action. I put the phone down expecting nothing but lo and behold a gritter turned up later that afternoon and again this morning. Well done to the roads dept. In this time of negativity 5 stars to the council roads dept for acting so quickly.

I have been on the phone for thirty minutes and told my call would be answered . Time of call was 4 50 pm till 5.20pm . Called this same number from another phone to be told office was clised. Would they have left me hanging on till they reopened tomorrow morning ? One dissatisfied customer !!!!!!!!

No one ever picks up the phone, so had to come into town to sort things out, just a nonsense, no surprise there, just a no care attitude
