Probably the worst company Ive had the displeasure of buying a house from. 3 and a half years later we still live in a construction site. Speeding heavy / large goods vehicles, tractors etc going buy the house several times an hour. Potholes everywhere. Rude workies. And your parking was the final straw which made me write this review. You have 2 vans abandoned on the road, neither of which are a space, and that are so close to each other a larger vehicle wouldnt be able to pass by. As for the construction of the houses, they are beyond poor. Ive lived in 3 new builds now and this is by far the worst construction company to date. I could go on but I wont waste any more of my time.

The absolute worst customer service experience imaginable not to mention the shameful workmanship. I was given the keys to my property back in March 2020 and the amount of issues I have had is obscene. I have had windows installed that had to be replaced on three occasions due to arriving with massive score marks across them. The ceiling had to be fixed on three occasions due to water seeping in. I have had several kitchen units that had to be replaced due to a variety of reasons (scrapes, marks, out of alignment). I also had a huge snagging list that has taken an age to work through due to delays with suppliers - yet during this time they continue to build property around those who have already moved in. From talking to neighbours it is clear that I am not the only one in this position - it is at the point were they now just ignore my emails. As soon as they have your money they simply do not care. I would strongly advise anyone looking to purchase a new build property to stay clear of McTaggart Construction. Update (following below response) - In actual fact you failed to respond to an email I sent about a problem with my property for 17 days which I then had to chase up myself, only to be told you would not be resolving, despite it being an issue from when I gained access to the property on 23/03/21 - almost a year ago. I would also like to make it clear you have not made several attempts to contact me. I have had one missed call - and it was only after I was put in a position that I had to leave a review due to my experience.
