We checked out the Transylvanian Dracula wine tasting yesterday and it was an awesome experience. Wine can sometimes be presented in a high faluting pretentious way, but the wine tasting was so relaxed and Daniel was really good chat as he introduced us to a whole host of Transylvanian wines. As it was only two of us that were taking part and it was raining outside, the tasting was held in an intimate space downstairs. There was also a selection of nibbles to pair with the wines. Overall, it was great fun and makes for somewhat of a hidden gem because if I'd known about it before I would have been there like a shot!

I like this place because it's so different and feels authentic offering Romanian drinks and treats, plus a few interesting objects and souvenir type items. There are some tables to sit outside. The cakes are great and the coffee is very nice. The staff always make a big effort to decorate in Christmas, or when it's Easter or Halloween they have special things in store!
