I have ordered many cupcakes for different events and I have never been disappointed, received my cakes today and they were fabulous, fresh and extremely tasty, thank you and I will be back soon

I ordered 9 cupcakes online for collection from the Glasgow store at the end of May. A few days before collection I received a call to say that collection wasn't possible due to the current situation, but that they could arrange delivery for 35. As the cupcakes were 31.50, I understood this to mean that the additional delivery cost would be 3.50, although they confirmed 5 would be deducted for the inconvenience. The day before delivery I noticed that an additional 30 had been taken out of my account and when raised with them was told that the cost of delivery was 30. It was in no way made clear to me during the phone call that the cost for delivery was an additional 30 as I simply would have cancelled my order - no one in their right mind would pay 61.50 for 9 cupcakes. Over and above this, the cupcakes were late being delivered and when I raised the issue about the cost of delivery and the fact this wasn't made clear, the person was unhelpful, and quite frankly rude, and insisted on the fact that 30 is a perfectly reasonable amount to charge someone for delivery of an item that costs almost the same amount. They have since returned 15 on the basis the cupcakes were delivered late, but have now been ignoring my further emails seeking for the remaining 15 to be refunded. For a company, over and above what has been described above, to then ignore emails from a customer seeking to complain is extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this company at all and hope that submitting this review will mean that they finally respond to my emails and resolve the situation.
