Its a cosy not well advertised cafe right across the hall from Escape. I suspect it has different soups each day and today's was Punjabi chicken or mushroom. They have reasonably priced tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cakes, sandwiches on different styles of bread, crisps, cans/bottles of juice and water. There is a lift access from the street. They have selection of chairs with tables and a small selection of newspapers on one of 2 fireplace mantlepieces, which have nicely framed mirrors above them. With muted but pleasant decor and low playing radio music it's a pleasant place to eat and chat in or watch the world go by. The only thing that may annoy is the intermittent chirruping hum from the fridges and air conditioner.
