Had one of the best caprese style salads over here. It was a bowl of cherry tomatoes, mozzarella with a delicious pesto dressing & was to die for. The place is super cute and rustic looking, small but inviting. The only thing was the service was a bit slow. We came in, ordered drinks, which were brought to us - but the lady never took our food order. We waited a further 10-15 minutes and eventually went up to the counter to order - I'm guessing they forgotten? Nevertheless I would come back in a heartbeat :)

Came in yesterday was opting for a breakfast roll but no option of that. I asked how much a slice of cake would be for 1 person 3.50 and for the whole cake 22 they are ripping money off people. Lady who served me was not customer friendly shall we say. I had a look at the menu and because I didnt want anything on it because it wasnt what I was looking for kinda just got shown the door. Best stick to what you know. I went to Hug on Skirving Street best people Ive known for a long time.

Disappointing experience. 3.40 for a tiny coffee which wasnt even what I ordered due to lack of attention being paid. The lady seemed very rushed and I could see the wrong type of milk being used, as well as the syrup I had asked for being carelessly fired at the coffee from a distance and totally missing the coffee itself (couldnt taste it at all). Card machine was plonked in front of me for payment and she rushed off leaving me just standing there. I tapped my card and didnt even get an acknowledgment or goodbye Lots of better options in the area with great customer service and far lower prices. Poor service and sadly wont be back!

Attitude of staff member leaves a lot to be desired. Thought we could pop in for a quick coffee and breakfast roll, so went in and sat down. I needed to use the lavatory so on I went while I let my mum check the menu. We weren't too impressed with the selection or prices on offer, and no breakfast rolls on the menu... just pretentiousness! We opted to leave (which is our perogative) and I was sternly advised that the toilets were for customer's use only. I pointed out that we would have been paying customers if the menu was to our satisfaction. What the lady failed to remember however, is that under Scots law, you cannot deny someone access to the toilet if they need to use it. Therefore her comment about it being for customers only was ill advised, ignorant and was clearly aimed at trying to embarrass us in front of the other customers in the place (although a failed attempt!) Unnecessarily rude, and Unnecessarily pretentious menu for the area. This wouldn't be out of place up the West End, but in Shawlands it's utter nonsense.
