MacDonald Fitted Bedrooms

This was a tricky space to work with but Calum and Derek(father/son)are true craftsmen and so clever with their design.I had the big namesout but can genuinely say save yourselves the bother. McDonalds fitted furniture give you a superior design/product at a highly competitive price.For me the actual fitting of the wardrobes was most important and they did this perfectly.They go above and beyond to leave the customer happy. Cannot recommend them enough.

I cannot recommend MacDonald Bespoke Furniture enough. Callum, his wife and Derek (his son) are lovely. Callum and Derek are also very highly qualified and skilled. We needed a fitted wardrobe, 2 beside cabinets, a dressing table and a chest of drawers. Upon our first visit, Callum gave us great advice regarding the design of the furniture and the woods they have to choose from are of a superior finish. We had researched several other fitted wardrobe companies and none came even close to the quality look and feel of the MacDonald offering. What is more, the design service is entirely bespoke. Much more so than other companies. We actually expected not to be able to afford what we wanted but were very pleasantly surprised. The cost of all our furniture was very similar to what other companies had quoted. Once we had decided to go with MacDonald (and it was really a very easy decision), Callum produced the most lovely drawings of our pieces and visited our house twice to measure up. When asked, he even took time to share his thoughts regarding colours for our bedroom walls and blinds. I would have him interior design my entire home if I could. Him and Derek then manufactured everything by hand in their workshop, taking time to find the best handles for us and call us with any additional queries or thoughts, and arrived on time to build it all in our room, positioning it in the best places so the room was balanced. We absolutely love it all. The wood feels amazing, the drawers and cupboards close beautifully and we were shown how to remove the drawers to make pieces lighter if we want to move them. MacDonald Fitted Bedrooms are a family run company and just lovely to deal with. They have given us such lovely furniture that will last, and be loved, for a lifetime and beyond. Please save yourself the time and trouble of visiting other companies and just go straight to MacDonald. Everything about them is much better.

I have purchased 2 fitted sliding mirror door wardrobes from MacDonalds, the service, products and finish achieved are absolutely superb. Compared to the existing standard mirror door wardrobe that I have currently in the other bedroom (its on the list to be changed!) the MacDonald ones are like night and day. Traditional craftsmanship at its best, you can tell by looking at it that it is extremely well fitted, and I would not expect any problems with these doors for years to come. Absolutely solid, and this in an old house where the plumb lines are not straight. I would highly recommend this company to all, friends and business colleagues.

Two bedrooms completed both excellent jobs and I am about to email about a quote for a third bedroom and I think that says it all.
